Ron Armstrong Memorial Tournament (September 17, 2011)
A total of 14 teams competed with 10 from outside clubs (Midland 3, Stayner 2, Orillia, Collingwood, Beeton, Agincourt and Uxbridge) and 4 teams from the host Barrie club.

Sandy McDonald Memorial Tournament
The club held the annual Sandy McDonald in club tournament on Wednesday, June 18 at the Barrie Sports Dome. Twenty bowlers participated and were ranked on the basis of individual points scored over two games.
The top point scorer was Margaret Parsons with 24 closely followed by Brian Barrett with 23. Other high scorers were Marg Ney 22, Veretta Kelly 21 and Laurie McLeod with 19. All twenty participants received cash prizes.
The day began with homemade muffins "created" by Carole Mills with tea and or morning coffee. As well the day included an enjoyable Pizza and Salad lunch between games.
All in all, a good day !!
Georgian Buick GMC Trophy Lawn Bowling Tournament
The Barrie Lawn Bowling Club hosted their second tournament of the new season,
the Georgian Buick GMC Tournament this past Saturday at the Barrie Sports Dome.
In all 12 teams competed with 4 teams from the host club and 8 teams from outside Barrie.
Visiting teams were from Midland (4). Collingwood (2), Stayner and Orillia.
The High Three Game winner and overall champion was the Orillia team of Robb Barsevich (skip), Ben Cole and Kevin Binsted.

The next open Club tournament to be held at the Dome is the Ron Armstrong Memorial on Saturday, September 17.
The Barrie Lawn Bowling Club held their opening tournament of the 2011 season on May 14 at the Barrie Sports Dome. Four teams from the host club and ten visiting teams (from Stayner, Midland (3), Collingwood, Beeton, Cannington, Hanover (2) and Agincourt) competed for the Matthews Trophy.
The Championship team and High Three game winner was the team of Al Purcell (skip), Rick Matthews and Vera Richardson from the Cannington Lawn Bowling Club.
